Tinus TredouxBespoke handmade gun cases
Built by hand. Built for your gun. Built to last.
Every Tinus Tredoux gun case creation begins with the firearm itself. Measured, cut, stitched and finished by one maker, it is built around one gun - and no other.
The making of a Tinus Tredoux creation
Made for one firearm. Made for one owner.
“I work to put money into the bank, but I build gun cases for the appreciation of my client.”
Tinus Tredoux

The maker
One maker. One pair of hands. One standard.
There is no production line here. No standard case pulled from a shelf and made to fit. The person whose name appears on the case is the person responsible for making it.
A creation may take four to five months. It leaves Tinus’s hands when it is right - not when a production schedule says it is finished.
Three styles
Three traditions. Made to one standard.
Oak and leather
American white oak, cut so that the grain and colour run unbroken around the case, bound in leather he stains by hand and lined in imported billiard baize.
All leather
Mitred corners and hand-stitched joints, in a standard or lightweight build, for the owner who travels and wants nothing announced.
Canvas and leather
Canvas over leather with Swiss locks and a compartment for a take-down cleaning rod. The field case that still belongs in a drawing room.
